Catwalk to Commercial Interiors
Design Threads Between Momentum & 2025 International Fashion Shows
Fashion continues to shape the future of interior design, and we love exploring where those parallels emerge. After reviewing the global Fall/Winter 2025 Fashion Weeks that took place this past February and March, we spotted runway trends that align with what we’ve been designing—and where we’re headed next.
From bold statements to modern takes on timeless classics (and yes, event the slow fade of quiet luxury), these moments on the runway echo through our materials, palettes, and sustainable innovations. Read on to discover how 2025 fashion influences surface in Momentum's newest designs and materials.
Femininity & Vintage Revival
Hourglass shapes and stunning silhouettes dominated the catwalk made possible through the use of statement, figure-enhancing belts and powerful shoulders. These designs illustrate the trend of celebrating feminine influence and embracing a revival of vintage aesthetics across both fashion and design.
The Rebecca Moses x Momentum wallcovering collection takes inspiration from Moses’ “The Queen” painting which debuted at the White Shirts gallery exposition showcasing groundbreaking women who embrace their beauty and diversity. Reflection features The Queen’s eye-catching portrait while Deco Dreams is inspired by her vintage broach. With a nostalgic maximalist feel, both wallcovering designs pay homage to vintage aesthetics and regal influences—a trend Harper’s Bazaar described as “opulence meets effortless grace.”

Statement Animal Prints
Subtle dashes of extravagant elements took the runway by storm this winter—including the ever-popular animal print trend. These ingenious techniques create impact without excess, showcased in the zebra-stripe-like Zara, part of our Glint & Glimmer collection—its velvet two-hued pattern intertwines with matte and sheen elements, adding unparalleled depth and intrigue.
Feminine feline influences are also making their way into hospitality spaces—the Rebecca Moses wallcovering collection again fits this aesthetic. Patterns like Kimono Untamed II prove that statement animal prints remain timeless—eye-catching yet elegant, and full of personality..

‘Vegan’ Sustainable Solutions
Although sustainable practices are already growing increasingly popular in the fashion industry, the demand for eco-friendly alternatives that achieve similar aesthetic appeal has risen dramatically.
PVC-Free textile Cordovan EPU takes inspiration from natural leather, boasting an organic blend of subtle tone variations and fine graining, a solution that some might call ‘vegan leather’. Cordovan EPU offers impressive durability ideal for workplaces, hospitality settings, and restaurants where spills and stains are no match.

Earthy & Expressive
Tactile dimension and organic drama took center stage on the Fall/Winter 2025 runways, from sculptural folds to mineral-inspired finishes. Think Dries Van Noten’s molten metallics and rich textures or Issey Miyake’s flowing geometry—earthy, elevated, and full of movement.
The Essentia Collection echoes this shift with upholstery like Tsumiki and Wavelet, while couture cork-inspired PVC-free wallcovering designs like the metallic foil effect of Sardinia Cork or the curvy rhythm of Rossio add a grounded, glinting finish to commercial spaces—a reminder that raw beauty can shimmer, too.

Hidden Surprises
Subtle yet striking details stole the spotlight at the 2025 Fashion Weeks—think discreet color pops, unexpected patterns, and light-catching textures. Just as statement socks and stockings added flair to every look, Momentum’s materials go beyond textiles and wallcoverings. Our sheers and drapery offer that same elegant yet effortless touch to guest spaces.
Our Sheer Showcase collection is thoughtfully designed to elevate hospitality interiors through simplicity, timelessness, and charm. From classic designs that evoke understated elegance to modern interpretations with bold linear elements and graphic geometry, Sheer Showcase offers versatile solutions for creating warm, welcoming spaces with just the right amount of edge.
In the Details: Sheer Showcase
Fashion has long set the tone for what’s next in interiors—through color, material, mood, and form. At Momentum, we embrace these evolving influences, whether they show up intentionally or intuitively.
From sculptural textures to vintage motifs and sustainable finishes, 2025 interior design reflects a full spectrum of style—and we’re proud to offer something for every space, from the bold and expressive to the au naturale textures and materials.
